Back in December 2024, I shared in my newsletter that this year carries the frequency of manifestation. I mentioned that this would be the year when the seeds we’ve been planting over the past few years would begin to bear fruit and that we’d finally start to see the results of our efforts.
It turns out this idea is well supported by astrology, at least according to astrologer Lori Lothian. In an interview with Renee Baribeau, Lori shared some key astrological insights about what we might expect, especially in the second half of the year. These shifts may even carry over into 2026. Although 2025 may have started on a bumpy note for many of us, the second half of the year brings a more promising outlook, one written in the stars. Luck will be in the air, especially in July, August, and September, and we’ll all feel its influence, no matter our sign. So mark your calendars and stay open to the possibilities these months may bring.
A mini grand trine will form starting in July between the outer planets Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus—an alignment not seen in thousands of years—creating a triangle of blessings. Anytime these outer planets come out to play, they mean serious business, not just for you, but for humanity as a whole.
This triangle will eventually turn into a kite as Mars, Mercury, and the Sun join the equation in August and September. A kite is a highly benefic aspect, one that brings a great sense of relief and many blessings. You could say, “Something really good wants to take off in your life, and it won’t rest until it reaches the highest part of the sky.” Not to mention, the planet of love, Venus, conjuncts optimistic Jupiter in mid-August, doubling down on the luck side, both in money and love.
But what particularly stands out this year is the upcoming trine between Jupiter in Cancer and the North Node of Destiny in Pisces, something that hasn’t happened since 1895. In astrology, a trine occurs when two planets are about 120 degrees apart, indicating that both are working together to create the best possible outcome.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, spirituality, wisdom, abundance, and good fortune. It’s exalted in the sign of Cancer, where it will be hanging out from June 2025 to June 2026. So what does that mean? In simple terms, Jupiter will be in its most empowered position to deliver blessings, and it’ll stay there for a full 12 months. Think of it as blessings on steroids.
The North Node (Rahu in Vedic astrology) represents your highest potential and path to worldly success. It points to what your soul came here to learn, master, experience, and accomplish in this life. In the sign of Pisces, it highlights themes of creativity, intuition, spiritual liberation, compassion, empathy, and the art of surrender. You can expect some big, fated shifts in these areas when it forms a trine with Jupiter this September.
And as if that weren’t enough, a total lunar eclipse on September 7 will connect with this nodal trine. Eclipses are known to bring fated events that tend to unfold over the course of six months, and because this one is total, it carries a deeper sense of completion. This one hints at something profound—and possibly destined—emerging in your life.
