PRACTICES TO NURTURE
THE RITE OF THE WOMB

The Rite of the Womb

Once you have received The Rite of the Womb, you nurture its power for at least thirteen (13) moon cycles of an entire year with the following practices.
You start the year as soon as you do your first ceremony. You may choose to stop at the 13th offering or continue on.
This is truly powerful and transformational work that has been forgotten in our modern times. For thousands of years, our ancestors have practiced these rituals that bring transformative gifts of healing and regeneration.

Ceremonies [and rituals] bring us back to a place of center and a place of stability in the midst of change.

1.) Actively Menstruating Woman

What you need:

  • Your menstrual blood (or red wine/organic juice as a substitute)
  • A place in nature where you can perform the ritual

On your next menstruation, find an intimate place in nature to give some of your menstrual blood to Mother Earth. You can perform the ritual at a local park, under a tree in your backyard, by the sea, or at your favorite nature spot.

If living in a location with limited access to nature, you can perform the ceremony indoors. Your offering can be released in the soil of a potted plant.

Offering your menstrual blood to the earth is a powerful way of renewing and strengthening your connection to the land and the Earth Mother. Blood can be collected in a small container, or you may choose to bleed directly on the ground.

When making the offering, repeat the following words and add anything to further personalized your intention:

I RELEASE MY FEAR, SO I MAY EMBRACE FREEDOM.
I RELEASE MY PAIN, SO I MAY EMBRACE JOY.
I RELEASE MY ANGER, SO I MAY EMBRACE COMPASSION.
I RELEASE MY SADNESS, SO I MAY EMBRACE PEACE.

2.) No Longer Menstruating or Without a Physical Womb

What you need:

  • A cup of red wine or any red organic juice
  • A place in nature where you can perform the ritual

On the next dark moon (aka new moon), find an intimate place in nature to offer a libation of red wine to Mother Earth. You can perform the ritual at a local park, under a tree in your backyard, by the sea, or at your favorite nature spot.

If living in a location with limited access to nature, you can perform the ceremony indoors. Your offering can be released in the soil of a potted plant.

3.) Pregnant Woman

What you need:

  • An offering of fresh flowers
  • A place in nature where you can perform the ritual

If you are pregnant, you offer flowers during the full moon — celebrating the life you carry in your womb just like a fertility goddess.

On the next full moon, find an intimate place in nature to perform the ritual. It can be at a local park, under a tree in your backyard, by the sea, or at your favorite nature place. You can leave the offering on the ground or release it into a body of water.

When making the offering, repeat the following words and add anything to further personalized your intention:

I RELEASE MY FEAR, SO I MAY EMBRACE FREEDOM.
I RELEASE MY PAIN, SO I MAY EMBRACE JOY.
I RELEASE DOUBT, SO I MAY EMBRACE TRUTH.

Once you have your baby, you can offer the placenta to the earth while reciting your own prayer from the heart. Intuitively cultivate a year of ceremony considering the steps above.

4.) Before the Onset of Menarche

What you need:

  • An offering of fresh flowers
  • A place in nature where you can perform the ritual

If a girl before menarche — first menstrual blood — receives the rite and wants to do a ritual, she would perform it on the day of the full moon.

On the next full moon, find an intimate place in nature to perform the ritual. You can leave the offering on the ground or release it into a body of water while repeating the following words:

I RELEASE MY FEAR, SO I MAY EMBRACE FREEDOM.
I RELEASE MY PAIN, SO I MAY EMBRACE JOY.

Receiving this initiation multiple times (for at least 13 moon cycles) is also a powerful way of strengthening its energy. Repetition increases the potency of any spiritual practice.

13-Moon Womb Initiation Experience

I released a lot of emotional blockages and something deep shifted. My son [who also received it], has changed so much as well and doesn’t even realize it. He has become more considerate towards me and often offers help without me asking for it. A huge change in him. It was an amazing experience. Thank you so much!
